Inventory, recipes and stock counts
Track stock by location and link base-product recipes to sales.
Stock & Recipes is an optional paid module for the selected location, available to authorized owners and administrators. New modular agreements require activation; existing agreements retain their stock access and agreed terms.
Set up
- In the correct location, open Inventory.
- Add stock items with a fixed unit: piece, g, kg, ml or l.
- Enter current physical quantity, reorder threshold and unit cost.
- Link each sold base product to a recipe and quantity of each stock item.
- Test consumption with a real workflow.
Recipes can use compatible g/kg or ml/l quantities, converted to the fixed stock unit. Products without recipes do not consume stock. Saved order lines preserve their recipe snapshot; changing a recipe affects future lines, not old ones.
Record movements
- Receive: add a delivery with actual unit cost; receiving updates weighted-average cost.
- Adjust: record a signed quantity correction with a reason.
- Count: enter the actual physical stock, not the difference.
- Waste: record a loss.
Adjustments, counts and waste require a reason and keep an audit trail.
Consumption rules
Counter/QR orders consume on payment; staff table orders consume when each round is sent. Eligible consumption is recorded once.
Remove a product's recipe before deleting that product. Review movement history and physically count stock regularly.
When the module is removed, stock history remains readable but new tracking and stock alerts pause. After reactivation, physically count every active stock item before new recipe snapshots and stock alerts resume. Previously captured snapshots and committed purchase receipts can still finish. Configure stock notifications separately on each receiving device.
