Owner app and stock notifications

Install the owner dashboard

Open your location in Admin, then Settings → App and notifications. Use Install when offered. On iPhone or iPad, open the dashboard in Safari and add it to the Home Screen; supported iOS/iPadOS versions require this installation for push.

The dashboard needs internet for current data and changes. Installing it does not turn it into an offline cashier.

Enable notifications

1. Sign in with your authorized owner or administrator account and select the correct location.
2. Open App and notifications on the device that should receive alerts.
3. Enable browser notifications from the button and allow the permission request.
4. Enable stock notifications for this location when Stock & Recipes is active.
5. Request a test notification and check that it opens the correct location.

Each device and location needs its own opt-in. Stock alerts announce a new low, zero or negative threshold crossing; existing low stock is not sent as a backlog. Replenishing stock allows a future crossing to notify again. Stock notifications are separate from the paid Activity Alerts add-on.

The dashboard bell

The bell shows current issues such as overdue shifts, printing problems and stock warnings. Clearing a row hides it on this device; it does not fix the underlying issue or erase history. Use Show cleared alerts to restore the current list.
