Hardware overview
Check Windows terminals, thermal printers and the fiscal-device boundary.
The paired Windows terminal connects the cloud workspace to local printers and displays.
Equipment
- Windows terminal: Rendo POS and its local print service.
- Thermal printer: customer and station tickets through a Windows USB queue or LAN ESC/POS connection.
- Customer display: active cashier order on a configured second screen.
- Station/Pickup screen: entitled operational views.
- Certified fiscal device: separate venue-approved fiscal process during the pilot.
Before service
Check Windows time, timezone, internet, device access and print-service health. Print a test from every printer and verify customer/station routes. Confirm the approved release and installation with the installer.
