Managing and securing QR codes
Suspend, replace or remove a code without losing submitted order history.
QR access belongs to one location and counter/table point. Customer sessions are time-limited and scoped to the current browser session.
Suspend and reactivate
Use Suspend code when a label is misplaced or temporarily unavailable. It stops new and continuing customer sessions; submitted orders remain. Reactivate only after checking physical control and plan access.
Replace
- Open the point's actions and select Replace code.
- Confirm, print and place the new code.
- Remove every physical copy of the old one.
Replacement immediately invalidates the previous code and its open customer sessions.
Remove
Removal archives the point and ends its sessions. Submitted orders and history remain. The old code cannot be reused.
